"I have a passion for creating comfortable and beautiful surroundings to live in – inside or outside - salvaging the old or bare and bringing it to life. I’ve worked in store design and visual merchandising for a large retailer for over 25 years.
Some of my favorite projects were working on developing new smaller brands with a limited budget and using salvaged furniture, flea and antique market finds along with a few splurges to create functional, fun and welcoming spaces."

"I was creating all week for work, and felt the need to continue creating in a different way when it came to the weekends and winding down. We purchased a 1920 farmhouse fixer in a Chicago suburb that needed renovations inside and out.
These outdoor renovations led to my passion for gardening and I began training with a master gardener and working side by side with her for over 20 years experimenting and creating new gardens."

"My move to Fort Myers opened up a whole new world of gardening for me; one that is year-round! Once again, I purchased a fixer; this time a 1939 bungalow that needed love inside and out to make it shine again. Once the inside was done, I began to work on the outside, and although my garden is not quite finished – and is a garden ever truly finished? – it’s been wonderful to learn about all of the plants available in SWFL.
Neighbors stop and visit the garden on their daily walks and comment on how much they enjoy my gardens. I’ve met so many new friends and neighbors thanks to my garden. My garden represents friendship, great neighbors, relaxation and a respite from the work-a day world. I hope that what we can create for you brings the same enjoyment in your home and yard.
